Explore the amazing birds on Hunting Island!
We will meet in the Nature Center parking lot at the very south end of the island & walk the trail through a Maritime Forest observing many different songbirds. There are several Osprey nests as well as Bald Eagles who make appearances. We will end up at the Lagoon where Forest Gump & other movies were filmed and walk the Boneyard Beach that has been features in many movie and TV shows, most recently the Righteous Gemstones. Depending on the time of season, many species of Warblers, Woodpeckers and even Painted Buntings abound!
